NPA6, PA66, and PA12 are several common types of Nylon, and their differences are as follows:
A.Chemical structure: Both PA6 and PA66 contain cyclic hexamethylene diamine and adipic acid in their chemical structures, while PA12 contains cyclic dodecamethylene diamine and adipic acid. Therefore, their molecular structures are slightly different.
B.Crystallinity:PA6 and PA66 have higher crystallinity, resulting in higher strength and hardness, while PA12 has lower crystallinity, offering better flexibility and impact resistance.
C.Thermal stability:PA6 and PA66 exhibit higher thermal stability and can withstand higher temperatures, whereas PA12 has relatively lower thermal stability.
D.Moisture absorption:PA6 and PA66 have higher moisture absorption and are more sensitive to humidity, leading to dimensional changes and performance degradation. In contrast, PA12 has relatively lower moisture absorption and is less affected by humidity.
